ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Project Goal Updates and Alignment: Conducted qualitative analysis and milestone documentation of 4 million-budget VR games adapted from major Sony/Columbia Pictures film IPs, with average 2-year production cycles, ensuring alignment with project goals and standards with filmmakers and IP showrunners
Partner Relationship Management: Spearheaded collaborations with PlayStation and Meta producers, maintaining productive partnerships to optimize project execution and ensure platform-specific adaptation and optimization
Proactive Risk Assessment: Managing forecasting and risk assessment with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to mitigate risks and maintain project schedules and timelines

During my time at both Sony Pictures VR and PlayStation in the role of a project manager, I gained experience in multimedia adaptation and leading collaborations between filmmakers and game developers to bring iconic IPs into Virtual Reality. As a storyteller myself, I believe that VR is a powerful medium for creating in-depth emotional experiences, whether through environmental storytelling or meaningful interaction design. As a project manager, my goal was to foster the creative visions of my teams to ensure that this goal was reflected in our work.
