Role Description:

  • Directed a team of 8 and developed a multi-media art production pipeline that streamlined the production of motion capture, volumetric capture, and procedurally generated environment to achieve high fidelity aesthetics in VR

  • Researched and developed customized volumetric capture character animation pipelines that use AI open-source algorithm to generate alpha and depth map that resonates the same look as traditional volumetric captured actors

  • Art directed the overall environments and worked with 2 narrative designers to use dietetic information and aesthetics to reflect the authentic 1920s New York apartment and WW1 battlefield

THEY SHALL NOT COME BACK is a narrative-driven VR interactive experience where you play the lingering soul of a teenage soldier who is killed in WWI and have to reconnect with his family in NYC one last time before finding peace. 

While trapped between the reality of the battlefield and the afterlife, you will embark on a hauntingly beautiful and emotional journey through time and space and explore the power of love and connection that transcends even death.
